Opened in 1958, Nile Hilton was the first international hotel in Egypt. The hotel located at 1113 Corniche El Nil, Cairo, Egypt, was owned by Misr Hotels and managed by Hilton until December 31, 2008. After renovation and delays due to the Arab Spring, the hotel reopened as The Nile Ritz-Carlton in 2015.

Ramses Hilton Hotel is located on the east bank of the Niles River in downtown Cairo, Egypt.  The 36-story hotel features an outdoor pool, fitness center, 24-hour casino, bars and restaurants, and conference facilities.  The hotel was built in 1980.

Mena House Hotel celebrated its 100th anniversary in 1970. Originally it was a hunting lodge located just outside Cairo until a hotel was constructed on the same site in 1869. It was a managed by Sheraton in 1970 as shown on the 20M Egyptian commemorate stamp. Today the 5-star luxury hotel is known as Marriott Mena House Hotel.
